This collectible chess set was created as a sign of respect for the legendary football club Lokomotiv and embodies the passion for sports in a completely different, intellectual format. Each figure is hand-cast from a zinc alloy that is not subject to deformation, and after fine polishing, it is painted in the colors of the team's home and guest uniforms. On the miniature faces there is concentration and determination, on the uniform there is the club's emblem, on the stands there are symbols suggesting the chess identity of the character. The podiums are made of precious woods, which eliminates even the slightest risk of damage to the field and gives the figures a decent foundation.
The playing field is hand-laid out of squares of maple and American walnut veneer, elegantly alternating in a checkerboard pattern. The carved board is made of solid black oak — powerful, dense, durable. The corners are decorated with three-dimensional club emblems, as a tribute to tradition, as a sign of memory of great matches, victories and hopes experienced. The size of the cage is 46.5 millimeters, the dimensions of the board are 49 by 49 centimeters. The field is complemented by alphanumeric and numeric markings, which are functional and delicate.
Inside the board there are individual cells made of soft velvet, carefully protecting each miniature along the way. The kit comes in a shipping box worthy of its class.
