Among the magnificent monuments of oral folk art, the Tales of Shahrazad are the most monumental monument. These fairy tales express with amazing perfection the desire of the working people to surrender to the "enchantment of sweet fictions", the free play of words, express the exuberant power of the flowery imagination of the peoples of the East - Arabs, Persians, Hindus. This verbal textile was born in ancient times; its multicolored silk threads intertwined all over the earth, covering it with a verbal carpet of amazing beauty.
