Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov (1905-1984) is one of the most significant figures in Russian and world literature of the 20th century. Sholokhov is the third after Ivan Bunin (1933) and Boris Pasternak (1958) were awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature among Russian writers, the prize was awarded to him for the novel "The Quiet Don" — "for the artistic power and integrity of the epic about the Don Cossacks at a crucial time for Russia." This is the first time that a collection of the writer's works has been so carefully prepared textually and provided with a detailed page-by-page commentary.
The ninth volume of the Collected Works includes works written in 1958-1983, letters from 1924-1983.
Collected works in 9 volumes, a unique series in a unique French leather binding style. For this collection, we selected a leather binding in the color of steppe wormwood, and a design of embossed and colored embossing was specially developed for it. This work will not leave anyone indifferent.
