Russian Russian philosophy can and should be viewed in the general context of Western European thought, but its ideas and images are unique and closely related to Russian culture as a whole. Trying to find their "special way", Russian philosophers are not content with cold rationalism and grope for answers to the "main" questions for each person, trusting intellectual intuition and even turning to poetry.
The Anthology of Russian Philosophy includes the works of the most significant and interesting thinkers of the late 18th and early 20th centuries.
The first volume is devoted to the basis of the foundations of philosophy: questions of being and its meaning, cosmology, the relationship between God and the world, Creator and creation.
The second volume addresses man and his place in the world, issues of free will, ethics, creativity, and sexuality.
The third volume is about Russia and its special role in the history of mankind.
