Marina Kusraeva

I am a professional artist from Russia, and I was lucky enough to be a member of the Russian Association of Marine Artists. I spent my childhood in Anapa, on the picturesque Black Sea coast, where my boundless love of nature and art shaped my destiny. After graduating from art school with honors, I embarked on the path of an artist.
My creative life took on new colors when I left the sea and became a mother. I have devoted these years to a deep study of seascapes, absorbing knowledge from famous Russian marine scientists.
Growing up by the sea, I learned to subtly feel its soul and convey these feelings on canvas.
My main technique is applying thin layers of paint, which allows you to create multi–layered, lively works of art. Looking at my seascapes, people find themselves on the seashore, where they can sit down and relax, listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the light sea breeze.
The realism and emotional depth of my paintings are attracting more and more fans around the world. My works have been exhibited at international exhibitions in Russia, Italy, Estonia, Germany, France and other countries, winning prizes at competitions. Some of them have found their way into private collections around the world.
Today I live and work in Moscow, conducting individual and group classes in painting seascapes at an art school. My endless love for the sea allows me to share the magic of the sea element with others, awakening awareness of its beauty and vulnerability in our hearts.
