Tabak Magazine is the only periodical in the USSR devoted to the topic of tobacco. The magazine is a unique monument of the era. The periodical was published once every two months. It published information about tobacco farming, tobacco fermentation, highlighted the problems of factory production and marketing of goods, as well as the successes of the tobacco industry of colleagues from abroad. A separate chapter was devoted to the Stakhanov movement, in which portraits of the best factory workers were printed, and their stories were published under the headings "I will work even better," "I will not stop there," "I will not give up my pace of work," etc.
