Sculpture "The Memory Catcher" by artist Taras Zheltyshev

The sculpture Memory Catcher embodies the fight against Alzheimer's disease. With the help of a net, an elderly man, in pursuit of elusive moments, catches fireflies of memory — mythical creatures that reflect reality and preserve the past forever. Interacting with them activates neurons, and therefore memories of the most important events in life. The figure is located on a relief pedestal, which embodies the complex structure of the brain and the labyrinths of memory. The chrome-plated surface of the sculpture reflects the light and silhouettes of the observers, offering to immerse yourself in your own memories.

Taras Zheltyshev is one of the most authentic artists in Russia. He creates sculptures, paintings, collectibles and furniture. Taras is a multiple participant of international exhibitions and the winner of the main prizes of various design awards.
