Quentin Tarantino is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, film producer, cinematographer, and writer. One of the most prominent representatives of postmodernism in cinema. The birth of the film "Mad Dogs" can be called a miracle. His script was written by Tarantino in just three and a half weeks and through third hands came to actor Harvey Keitel, who really liked him. Keitel's name opened all the doors to the young director, who had, in fact, only one amateur picture on his account.

In "Mad Dogs," Tarantino left a hint of his next work. At one point, an advertisement for a restaurant called Jack Rabbit Slim's is playing on the radio. Later, the same name will be in the movie "Pulp Fiction". It's a 1950s-style restaurant where Vincent and Mia went for milkshakes and Steve Buscemi as a waiter dressed as Buddy Holly.
