Air France passenger ticket, 1958

Air France is the main national airline of France, one of the oldest and largest airlines in the world. The airline currently operates flights to 187 destinations, and its home Charles de Gaulle airport can compete in fame with the legendary Heathrow Airport in England. The passenger ticket belongs to a Mr. Bresler. Apparently, this is a stopover ticket at the destination Moscow — Prague — Paris — London — Prague — Moscow. Aeroflot has always been the main partner of Air France — negotiations on air service between the USSR and France have been underway since 1923. It is curious that Aeroflot was created 10 years earlier (then in the form of the Dobrolet joint-stock company) than Air France, in the same year 1923, when there were only scattered private airlines in France.

However, it was only in the early 1950s that cooperation between the two airspace giants began. Everything was not limited to flights alone — in 1980, scenes for the Soviet movie "The Crew" were shot at Charles de Gaulle's home airport of Air France.
