Moby is an American performer, composer, producer, and DJ.
Moby's first hit was a single called Go, released in 1991. It contained samples from David Lynch's famous detective series Twin Peaks at that time and hit the British and Dutch music charts. This allowed the star to make a loud statement about himself. In the future, he was expected to collaborate with popular singers and bands.
While working on the recordings, Richard experimented by mixing different genres in one bottle and, it would seem, tried to combine opposite things: electronica, pop music, rock and punk. Music lovers also heard the sound of pseudo-industrial thrash, ambient trance, breakbeat and other directions on the disc.
All the musician's releases turn out to be special, because the songs in them are combined with separate themes. But the central motive of creativity is the question of the uncertainty of human existence. Most of the records are accompanied by essays in which the author discusses politics, ecology or problems of society.
Moby's famous songs include "Porcelain", "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?", "Natural Blues", "Lift Me Up".
