Avraamov, A.M. The Incarnation. Yesenin-Marienhof. / Moscow, Imagists, 1921.
The title page of the book was signed by Sergei Yesenin with the words: "Arseny from Sergei Yesenin 1921. December 1."
Arseny Avraamov, Sergey Yesenin and Anatoly Marengof linked innovative ideas in the field of creativity - music and literature. The new culture of post-revolutionary Russia was formed in the radical manifestos of contemporaries. So, in 1917, the Futurist Newspaper touched on the theme of music of a new way of life: "From now on, passing down the street, a citizen will enjoy every minute the depth of thought of great contemporaries, contemplate the colorful brightness of beautiful joy today, listen to music — melodies, rumble, noise — of wonderful composers everywhere. Let the streets be a celebration of art for everyone."
The most prominent practitioner who embodied this call was composer, music theorist and inventor Arseny Avraamov. Among his compositions, the most famous is the "Symphony of Horns", which provides for the use of cannon and pistol shots, factory horns, steam whistles and other "machine" sounds.
Avraamov had known Yesenin and Marienhoff since 1918 and was himself a member of the imagist group, and in 1921 he released The Incarnation. This work is a study of the rhythmics and musical structure of the poems of two "colossuses of imagism, mighty prophets of the Revolution - Sergei Yesenin and Anatoly Mariengoff."
