Ancient gigantic trees are found at the bottom of lakes, swamps and rivers through complex geological surveys. It is extracted laboriously, riskily and expensively, but at the same time, the precious black-and–blue material with tints of gray and silver streaks has no analogues - it is beautiful and noble amazingly!

The name oak is due to the presence of special tannins in the tree juices, thanks to which the wood, trapped in an airless space under the water column, darkens and persists for thousands of years. The age of the bog oak was determined in a special laboratory of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
