The Libra sign, for all its exquisite decorative effect in a combination of elements of Slavic and Christian art, contains a semantic context – they demonstrate the balance and equality of these elements in the Russian cultural tradition at rest. The central element is a sunny face in an openwork frame, on the axial rays of which two bowls are suspended and two mythical birds sit – Sirin and Alkonost.

The bowls are suspended on the symbols traditional for Christian Chrism – the letters "Alpha" and "Omega", and the central skeleton of the scales is covered with inscriptions containing Russian proverbs. For example, "whoever does good, evil does not harm him", "joy is not eternal, sadness is not infinite", etc.

The scales are accompanied by balances in the form of traditional Russian nesting dolls. On general examination, the libra sign resembles the figure of a Russian woman in a cocoanut and sundress, carrying a rocker with water carriers, and the scales are children.
