Bronze sculpture "Warrior's Friend"

The sculpture "Warrior's Friend" (2023) is made of bronze with an expressive patina of rich tone and is mounted on a laconic wooden base. The image of a woman dressed in a kimono, with an open fan in one hand and a katana resting calmly on her hip, reflects a delicate inner balance between calmness and strength, peace and willingness to act. There is a frozen movement in her pose, concentration in her facial expression, and confidence in the line of her shoulders and neck. The fan in her hand is not decorative, it is an extension of character, a sign of a conscious choice of position.

The union of a fan and a katana is a metaphor for the integrity of a woman's nature. In modern culture, a woman is often associated with softness, pliability, and streamlined fragility. This is just one facet, sometimes superficial. The other side — hidden, deep, strong — remains in the shadows: strong-willed, internal, capable of defending, leading, protecting. This sculpture is about her. About a woman who does not lose her dignity even in silence, and for whom grace is inseparable from determination.

The work offers a new interpretation of the classic image of an ally. This is not a companion standing behind, but an equal figure: in spirit, in responsibility, in the right to be and choose. It will become the semantic center of a space in which not just forms are important, but ideas embodied in plastic. Suitable for those who feel that female power can be silent, but not doubtful.
