The sculptural image was included in the exclusive series "Marshals of Victory", created for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The work presents a sculptural image of Konstantin Konstantinovich Rokossovsky, which impresses with its realism and accuracy. In order to achieve maximum authenticity, authenticity and take into account the smallest details, the sculptor Alexey Nicheporchuk, specializing in recreating images of outstanding historical figures, as well as leading experts in uniformology, were involved in the work.
Not only the facial features are masterfully conveyed, but also the characteristic pose in which the marshal is often depicted in archival photographs – with his hands clasped behind his back. Rokossovsky appears in full dress, as on June 24, 1945, when he commanded the Victory Day Parade: the uniform of a Marshal of the Soviet Union, breeches, high boots and a cap. All the details are reproduced with amazing precision: from the exquisite gold embroidery on the uniform and headdress to the smallest nuances such as the spurs on the boots and the saber.
The sculpture is made of sponge porcelain and is cast exclusively by hand.
