About this product
Art. : 131-935

The sculptural image was included in the exclusive series "Marshals of Victory", created for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

A surprisingly accurate sculptural portrait of Marshal Ivan Stepanovich Konev is made in porcelain. In order to achieve maximum authenticity, authenticity and take into account the smallest details, the sculptor Alexey Nicheporchuk, specializing in recreating images of outstanding historical figures, as well as leading experts in uniformology, were involved in the work.

The author masterfully captured not only the expressive facial features and majestic bearing of the marshal. The figure accurately recreates the marshal's vestments on the day of the Victory Day Parade, June 24, 1945. On this day, Konev marched along the cobblestones of Red Square at the head of the 1st Ukrainian Front. A ceremonial uniform, breeches and a cap create an image of unshakeable strength, and the smallest details - spurs on high boots and a saber – add integrity and completeness to the sculpture.

The sculpture is made of sponge porcelain and is cast exclusively by hand.
