About this product
The Time Squared limited Edition collection is an example of how 3,000 floating clockwork mechanisms take shape. The only one of its kind, there are only a few similar sculptures in Russia.
The elementary shape of the cube is filled with hundreds and thousands of frozen moments for your perception, and from different viewing angles the picture changes dramatically and the mechanisms that were hiding in the infinity of time appear, and it happens that chaos turns into order and infinitely scattered mechanisms line up in a row. And it's all within the framework of one piece.
Berd Vaye's interior collections are exclusive limited collections, and 999 sculptures will be produced worldwide. Each of the parts is over 50 years old. The masters of Berd Vaye manage to preserve the beauty of the watch movements used in the creations of modern art. And this beauty conveys the splendor of the first-class quality of vintage watch details. The process of creating Berd Vaye sculptures takes from 1-2.5 months of painstaking design work, including sorting the details and polishing each of them. The sculptures are made of transparent, damage-resistant precious resin known as Lucite, the most environmentally friendly material. The purpose of creating the sculptures was to embody the symbiosis of watchmaking and modern art, while demonstrating both the splendor of clockwork mechanisms and to capture the very concept of time, giving it shape and meaning.
