Modern works often use a single mammoth tusk, which makes it possible to create complex multi-layered structures with filigree precision. The most important indicator of the master's level is the number of inner spheres: the more layers are enclosed in one ball, the higher the technical complexity and the more virtuoso the work is considered. Creating a large number of freely rotating shells requires exceptional calculation accuracy, error-free tool ownership and many years of experience.
