Bulls have been described in legends and traditions of different peoples since ancient times. Among the inhabitants of Ancient Egypt, this animal was considered sacred, the image of a bull symbolized royal (royal, like a lion) power, might, male fertility — a multi-valued symbol of divinity, royalty. The same interpretation has taken root in many other cultures and countries.
According to legend, the Hebrew high priest Aaron, the brother of Moses, made a small bull out of gold and used it as a divine symbol. It was at that time that the famous expression "golden calf" appeared. The bull served as a symbol of the solar cult.
