Box "Winter in Moscow" by Bikin, Palekh

Bikin's "Winter in Moscow" casket, Palekh, is an elegant work of lacquer miniature dedicated to the image of the winter capital. A festive panorama of the Kremlin is revealed on a glossy black background: scarlet towers, golden domes, snow-covered trees and subtle flashes of fireworks create the feeling of a solemn evening in the very heart of Moscow. The golden ornament at the edges enhances the grandeur of the composition and emphasizes the classic Palekh aesthetics.

The work was done in the traditional technique of Palekh tempera painting on Papier-mache, followed by a lacquer coating. The miniature is characterized by rich color, fine lines and decorative expressiveness: the architecture is painted with jewelry precision, and the winter landscape is filled with soft light and a fabulous atmosphere. Bikina's signature painting gives the casket artistic value and makes it not just a storage item, but a collector's item.

Such a box will be a beautiful gift for a connoisseur of Russian art, a memorable souvenir of Moscow or an accent detail of an office, library, living room. The product was created in Russia by Palekh artists, made of papier-mache, hand-painted with tempera and varnished, which preserves the depth of color, surface gloss and noble appearance.
