About this product
""Wedding three" by Belov, Palekh is an elegant work of Russian lacquer miniature with a warm, festive plot. The cover depicts a wedding trio: elegant guests, horses in harness, a winter village and a golden sunset create an atmosphere of ancient celebration, family joy and a beautiful Russian ceremony.
The glossy black case highlights the light picturesque composition, and the delicate gold ornament along the edge of the lid and sides adds solemnity to the product. The painting is executed with the detail characteristic of Palekh: expressive faces, smooth lines, saturated shades and decorative rhythm transform a domestic scene into a chamber work of art.
The inside of the box is covered with a deep red lacquer, creating a spectacular contrast with the black exterior. The product is suitable for storing jewelry, memorabilia or as a collector's gift to a connoisseur of Russian art crafts; materials and techniques: papier-mache, tempera, lacquer, Palekh painting.
