Backgammon made of elm wood and black epoxy resin

These backgammon are a harmonious fusion of the nobility of living wood and the depth of modern material. For their manufacture, elm was used — wood with an expressive natural pattern, casting warm honey and coffee shades. The array is complemented by epoxy resin inserts, whose glossy surface resembles solidified magma, emphasizing the texture of the wood and enhancing the play of light. The polished metal-edged chips fit into the designated slots with precision worthy of a Swiss mechanism.

Every detail is thought out to perfection: perfect layout lines, precise proportions, reliable metal hinges embedded in the body without the slightest gap. Recesses for storing chips and dice are built into the case, without disturbing a single plane. The surface is carefully sanded and coated with a finishing protection that emphasizes the natural texture of the elm, whose pattern seems to store the passage of time. Such an object is appropriate both in the interior of a country house with a fireplace and in an office where an atmosphere of silence and thoughtfulness reigns.

Please note: the product may differ from the one shown in the photo due to the natural uniqueness of the wood texture and the characteristic iridescences of epoxy resin, so that each work is one of a kind!

Dear customers, the product can be made with epoxy resin of any color and brass or stainless steel chips, on an individual order!
