About this product
Chess "Russia" is not just a board game, but a real artistic object that combines the sophistication of natural materials and the grandeur of national symbols. Each figure is hand—carved from pressed amber: one set is made in rich cognac shades, the other in a golden-milky range. They emit a soft glow, as if they have absorbed the warmth of the Baltic sun, and refer to the tradition of jewelry masterpieces of the imperial era.
The playing field is made of stained oak and amber, and in the center of the board stands the coat of arms of Russia — a double-headed eagle, as a symbol of the power, independence and cultural might of the state. Elements of floral ornament, hand inlay and lacquer finishing are used in the design of the cages. When closed, the board turns into a casket with an elegant lock — the keeper of the game and silence.
This set is not so much for everyday parties as for special moments: special gifts, diplomatic meetings, gratitude to patrons and collectors. Chess "Russia" speaks without words — about status, about respect for history, about eternal values.
