The basis for each chip was a beech tree, from which the carver carved the blanks and applied abstract ornaments to their surface. Bronze was used to finish the chips and emphasize the lines of the pattern. This alloy blends well with wood and creates a beautiful and finished artistic style. The set includes 16 light chips and 16 dark ones. To create a darkened effect, the beech billet was also coated with a thin bronze layer. The chips are stored in a handmade wooden box with a velvet backing.
