Silver jewelry magnifier "George the Victorious"

A foldable, portable, jewelry magnifier with a lens diameter of 21 mm., and a thirty-fold magnification, made of sterling silver. Attached to the teardrop-shaped case is a small loop for attaching to a chain, or a keychain.

Obverse: St. George in the form of a young warrior with a bare head on a white horse in light light armor, in a flowing cloak, strikes a black dragon with a spear. The symbolic meaning of this image is the struggle and victory of the light force of good over the black force of evil.

Reverse: an iconographic image of St. George from the waist up, in the guise of a young warrior in armor. In one hand – a spear, in the other — a sword.

Gurt: the beginning of the prayer to George the Victorious for help and protection: "O all-praiseworthy, holy Great Martyr and wonderworker George! Look upon us with your speedy help, and beseech the Lover of Mankind, God, that He may not condemn us sinners according to our iniquities, but may He do with us according to His great mercy."
