The leather-bound book "The Cup for the Fatherland"

Nothing has united the Russian people so much throughout its history as the threat to the Fatherland. The literature of Russia, stunned by the thunder of battles, suddenly responded with a stream of writings from the mouths of people of different classes. All Russian publications, including provincial ones, were filled with rhymed texts during the days of military battles. In them you can hear the clink of blades, the whistle of buckshot, and the roar of guns. This rhythm at the beginning of the XIX century seemed to crack the old syllable of Russian literature with the intonations of a fervent Hussar song. Let's remember at least the year 1812...
