About this product
The book "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran is often compared to the famous "Zarathustra". Indeed, like Nietzsche's work, it is a poetic and aphoristic sermon on the philosophy of life, but it is much shorter and of a completely opposite orientation. Gibran, unlike Nietzsche, is kind and believes in God. True, this God is somewhat vague, which corresponds to the spirit of our time, but with the light hand of the generation of hippies and great rock musicians, this is what earned his book "The Prophet" worldwide fame and glory. Since then, its popularity has only been growing. This wise book in the traditions of Arabic-Persian poetry and philosophy has already been translated into a hundred languages and finds millions of readers all over the world. In 26 short and succinct chapters, the prophet Gibran tries to give answers to the basic questions and problems of existence throughout human life, and very often he succeeds. This book is not so much for reading in the usual sense, as for reflection, meditation and peace of mind.
