The two most famous stories of the famous traveler, geographer and ethnographer Vladimir Klavdievich Arsenyev "Along the Ussuri region" and "Dersu Uzala" are illustrated in this collection by drawings by S. I. Yakovlev.

The publication is preceded by a preface by the author, decorated with maps and photographs taken during his expeditions.
Numerous comments on the text help to perceive the realities of the Ussuri region.

The book is complemented by a folded color map, 69x69 cm in size, drawn by Arsenyev himself.
