A separate section provides notes and explanations to the St. Petersburg plan.

The author of the guidebook is Grigory Georgievich Moskvich, in total he produced 14 guidebooks, which together went through 223 editions with a total circulation of 825,000 copies.

In Yalta, the Muscovite had his own bookstore, where he met Anton Chekhov in 1894 and corresponded with him for a long time.

Moskvich was one of the first Russian tourist operators. He organized tourist trips on ships, trains, cars, horseback riding, hiking trips. He created the first tour desks in the Caucasus.
