Leather-bound book "Yuri Khoy and the Gaza Strip Group"

The band "Gaza Strip" and its permanent leader can be treated in different ways: some appreciate them for their well-done, serene lyrics, appeal to folk roots and genre experiments; others scold them for the vulgarity of the lyrics and musical secondhandness, calling them "collective farm punk." However, one cannot but agree that there is no such person who could replace or overshadow Yuri "Khoy" Klinsky, a talented poet and an original musician who is outside any context or framework of conventions. This book is about how Yuri managed to "make" a band out of a multitude of seemingly disparate elements, in which rock and humor, fairy tales and perestroika everyday life, obscene ditties and mystical plots coexisted. The publication includes previously unpublished photographs from the family archive of Yuri Khoy, fragments of interviews with close relatives of the musician, members of the band "Gaza Strip" and colleagues in the workshop.

The gift edition is presented in a handmade solid leather binding with metal art inserts corresponding to the subject of the publication. A brightly decorated book block. A painted sawn-off shotgun, lasse. High-quality coated paper.
