The author's oil painting "Morning in the Forest" is an image of nature waking up from sleep, filled with golden light and morning silence. The piercing radiance of dawn streaming through the tall fir trees gives the canvas an almost mystical aura. The artist conveyed with amazing accuracy the play of the sun's rays penetrating into the forest and dissolving into the air. The foreground is permeated with soft shadows — a swampy hollow, grass, and moisture reflecting the sky create the effect of total immersion in the natural environment. Each brushstroke breathes life, is filled with attention to nuances and respect for silence, which only those who truly love the forest can listen to.
Alexander Viktorovich Fomin, a gallery owner and artist, deeply appreciates impressionism and demonstrates his love for this style in stunning paintings. His works reflect the essence of light and color in nature, as well as the emotions and beauty of everyday moments.
The artist was born in Moscow. Alexander Fomin took his first lessons from his older brother. The novice painter was 22 years old when he first picked up a brush. Revolving in a circle of artists and selling paintings by his older brother, Alexander takes up the brush, watching as canvases are born. He studied literally "over his shoulder", closely following his brother's work.
Feeling that he can embody his impressions and ideas on canvas, Alexander makes the first strokes. Hard work and diligence paid off: in 1992, he was invited to an exhibition in West Germany. This was an important event and an incentive to choose the profession of an impressionist painter.
The artist's favorite themes are urban landscapes, retrospectives of old streets of Paris, Moscow and German cities. Today, Alexander's works are in private collections and museums, including in the city of Emmerich (West Germany), as well as in the estate of the Leontiev noblemen (descendants of Generalissimo Suvorov) and other top officials of countries and states.
The painting is intended for those who are looking for not just decor, but a real work of art — an image that has an inner light and is able to fill the space with peaceful depth. It is suitable for those who appreciate warmth and visual silence in painting, who want to add a sense of reliability, constancy and peace of mind to the interior.
