About this product
Art. : 411-20

The author's oil painting "Forest Lake" is a portal to a world in which every tree preserves the silence of centuries, and every glimmer of light on the water reminds of the fleeting and precious charm of the moment. In front of the viewer is a forest path skirting a picturesque pond, framed by pine trees and deciduous trees, painted with such precision and warmth that the canvas begins to breathe the living air. The branches, bent in space, as if under the weight of centuries, are reflected in the water, the ripples on which tremble with the breath of the forest. The canvas is made in a muted, noble color scheme, conveying a feeling of freshness and peace after a light rain. In the glare of the sun breaking through the foliage, one can guess a special emotional intonation — an intuitive perception of silence and inner harmony, accessible only to those who know how to hear nature. Every detail, from the wet grass at the water's edge to the subtlest transitions of greenery, is painted with love and attention, giving the impression of a deep personal experience woven into the texture of the canvas.

Alexander Viktorovich Fomin, a gallery owner and artist, deeply appreciates impressionism and demonstrates his love for this style in stunning paintings. His works reflect the essence of light and color in nature, as well as the emotions and beauty of everyday moments.

The artist was born in Moscow. Alexander Fomin took his first lessons from his older brother. The novice painter was 22 years old when he first picked up a brush. Revolving in a circle of artists and selling paintings by his older brother, Alexander takes up the brush, watching as canvases are born. He studied literally "over his shoulder", closely following his brother's work.

Feeling that he can embody his impressions and ideas on canvas, Alexander makes the first strokes. Hard work and diligence paid off: in 1992, he was invited to an exhibition in West Germany. This was an important event and an incentive to choose the profession of an impressionist painter.

The artist's favorite themes are urban landscapes, retrospectives of old streets of Paris, Moscow and German cities. Today, Alexander's works are in private collections and museums, including in the city of Emmerich (West Germany), as well as in the estate of the Leontiev noblemen (descendants of Generalissimo Suvorov) and other top officials of countries and states.

This work is intended for the discerning connoisseur who knows how to surround himself with genuine silence and intellectual sophistication. A person who strives for meaningful peace in the midst of the aesthetics of natural truth, inextricably linked with personal strength, freedom and inner dignity.
