Icon of the Holy Trinity painting

The basis of the work is made by the method of tempera painting by Levkas on a lime board, which allows you to work out in detail even the smallest elements of the composition, to achieve maximum expressiveness. Inside, the icon is lined with a scattering of multicolored cubic zirconia, rhinestones, pearls and other stones that perfectly match each other. The icon is decorated in a luxurious patterned kiosk.

The plot of the icon "Holy Trinity" is based on the biblical story (Gen. 18,1) about the appearance of God to the righteous forefather Abraham in the form of three wanderers: "And the Lord appeared to him at the oak grove of Mamre, when he sat at the entrance to the tent (his), during the heat of the day ..." The Most Holy Trinity is depicted on icons in the form of Angels: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The dogma of the Most Holy Trinity is the basis of Christian doctrine. The Most Holy Trinity is addressed with prayers for the forgiveness of sins.

The Holy Church celebrates the feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost) on the 50th day after Easter. Holy Trinity Day is dedicated to commemorating the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles after the Ascension of the Lord. This day is called the Trinity, because it was the descent of the Holy Spirit that revealed the care of humanity of all persons of the Triune God: God the Father, who sent the Holy Spirit, God the Son, who begged God the Father for the sending of the Holy Spirit, God the Holy Spirit, who came in the form of fiery tongues and sanctified the world through the foundation of the Church and the worldwide preaching of faith.
