The embroidered icon "Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky" in an antique kiosk

At the heart of the antique kiosk, created by skilled craftsmen and restored with reverent care, shines an embroidered icon dedicated to the Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky— a symbol of military valor, justice and wise government. The faces of the saints, as if coming to life under the shimmer of precious stones, radiate a reverent calm and majestic power capable of inspiring heroic deeds and strengthening the spirit.

Every detail of this unique work is the result of the highest craftsmanship. The technique of facial mosaic and ornamental sewing, complemented by hand embroidery, creates a delicate pattern that shimmers with shades of ruby, spinel, garnet and malachite. Flecks of carnelian and quartz add sophistication, while delicate pearls and sparkling rhinestones from the Czech Republic and Japan emphasize the sophistication of the composition. All materials, including linen, silver and metal, combine harmoniously in this piece, creating the perfect balance of luxury and spiritual significance.

Special attention is drawn to the kiosk, completed with an exquisite finial. Its wooden structure, covered with gold leaf and decorated with glass inserts, seems to enclose the icon in a halo of divine light. The careful restoration of the frame and the kiosk, made using veneer, gold, rosin and stain, restored this masterpiece to its original grandeur. Every detail, from carving to gilding, highlights the status of the owner of this treasure, turning it into an object of pride and admiration.

The Alexander Nevsky icon is not just an artistic work, but also a deeply symbolic gift that carries the memory of the great defender of the Russian land. Its owner becomes a part of a rich history, having touched the world where the light of faith, willpower and the constant desire for justice merge. This is not just an acquisition, it is an expression of personal power and spiritual greatness.

The icon was made in the early 20th century. Restored.
