Set of silver Christmas tree toys "New Year" 5 pcs

A set of five silver Christmas tree decorations called "New Year" is a carefully thought-out composition created in enamel-filigree technique. The toys are made of 925 sterling silver and covered with rich red-and—white enamel, forming a pattern characteristic of the Russian artistic tradition - soft curls, similar to frosty drawings on glass. In the center of the composition is a three—dimensional ball with the finest floral ornaments surrounding a relief star-shaped medallion rosette. It is complemented by four flat pendants: Santa Claus with softly spelled out folds of his fur coat and beard, an elegant Christmas tree painted from the inside with white floral lines, as well as two animal figures — a fox and a squirrel, sculpted in a lively, rounded manner and decorated with delicate enamel gradients.

Filigree silver threads are used in the work on each toy, forming an airy ornament, carefully filled with enamel, melted and polished to a glassy sheen. The combination of white and red enamel sets a festive, joyful rhythm that gives each figure its own character: the fox's smooth iridescences shift from ruby to milky, emphasizing the curve of its tail, while the squirrel's bright accents are shifted to the upper part of the composition, emphasizing movement and lightness. In Santa Claus, attention is drawn to the expressiveness of the face and the embossed treatment of the fur coat, and the Christmas tree is assembled from alternating curls that create a sense of volume, despite the flat design.
