Decorative plate "Romeo and Juliet" Brovkin V., Palekh

The decorative plate, painted using the Palekh miniature technique, is not just a work of art, it is a talisman of love and eternal passion. Made of pressed high-quality wood cardboard (papier-mache) soaked in hot linseed oil, it seems to be imbued with the spirit of ancient legends, imprinted in every brush stroke.

On its front side, a world opens up where time has no power over eternity. Lovers Romeo and Juliet, symbolizing boundless passion, rise above the hectic world, rushing towards their destiny. Their faces are shining with love, their hands, like threads of fate, reach for each other, passing through a space where time does not matter.

Miniature paintings made with tempera egg paints transport us to a world where every moment is imbued with the spirit of antiquity. The bright ornament, painted with gold leaf with the addition of cherry resin, gives the plate a divine shine, reminding of the greatness of true love.

This plate, covered with eight layers of oil varnish and polished to a mirror shine, is a masterpiece worthy of decorating the interiors of the most luxurious homes. It will become not just an ornament, but an object that will preserve the memory of great feelings, eternal values and the fact that love will always find its way.
