As a functionary, Alexey Alexandrovich worked as the executive secretary of the USSR Football Federation, a member of the UEFA European Cup Committee, the UEFA Mini-Football Committee, executive secretary of the Council of Presidents of Football Federations of the CIS countries, chairman of the RFU Veterans Committee and adviser to the president of the main football organization of the country. For his great contribution to the development of domestic and world sports, Alexey Alexandrovich was awarded the Badge of Honor, the Order of Friendship, the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the IV degree, the IOC Olympic Order, the UEFA Ruby Order of Merit, the Order of Honor, the FIFA Order of Merit.
This is how Paramonov recalls a meeting with FIFA President Joseph Blatter: "Once we were in Switzerland on a tour with the Spartak youth team. I met Blatter, then the secretary General of FIFA. Then there was a reception at the cafe, I introduced my wife to him, he kissed her hand. To this day, she says: the FIFA president kissed my hand, and you? (laughs)".
