Ernesto Che Guevara is a Latin American revolutionary, commander of the Cuban Revolution of 1959 and a Cuban statesman. In addition to the Latin American continent, he also operated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other countries around the world.

With the phrase "Hasta la victoria siempre," Che Guevara also concluded a letter addressed to Fidel Castro in the spring of 1965, when Che left the Communist Party of Cuba a year before his death. Castro publicly read the letter during a speech on October 3, 1965, where he officially announced the comandante's resignation from the party. In the same year, 1965 Carlos Puebla published the famous song "Hasta siempre, Comandante".
