The source of inspiration for the creation of this collection, as for many French luxury brands, including jewelry, fashion, cosmetics and perfumes, was the Parisian roofs. Grey galvanized roofs on apartments of the XIX century and townhouses of the XVII century are included in the list of cultural heritage sites of the French Ministry of Culture and sent for consideration for the status of UNESCO heritage sites. It is thanks to the famous Parisian roofs that Embleme has become the only collection in the Waterman range where the entire line has a metal cap.

Another distinctive feature of the collection is a fountain pen with an engraving of the Eiffel Tower, made of stainless steel. The body and the grip area of the writing instruments are made of high-quality plastic, and the ballpoint pen is equipped with a rotary mechanism.
