It is extracted laboriously, riskily and expensively, but at the same time, a precious black-and–blue material with tints of gray and silver streaks has no analogues - it is beautiful and noble amazingly! The name oak is due to the presence of special tannins in the tree juices, thanks to which the wood, trapped in an airless space under the water column, darkens and persists for thousands of years. The age of the bog oak was determined in a special laboratory of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The solemnity and grandeur of the architectural and spatial composition is emphasized by the shape of the service – the "Coat of Arms", created at the Imperial Porcelain Factory for the Coat of Arms in the middle of the 19th century and restored according to the museum model in 1996.
