The sculpture "The King" is a study of the monumental work of the same name by the author, on which he later worked for 3 years.
The image of the "King" is a bust of the lord and supreme ruler, endowed with unlimited power, ruling by setting his own laws and changing them at will. As the Supreme Commander-in-chief, he has the right to punish and pardon, award and bestow titles. Dressed in luxurious knight's armor, he looks menacingly at his subjects, and the lion's head on his helmet adds formidable ferocity to the whole image. On his right shoulder is the lion king, which is a symbol of strength, courage and generosity, bravery and bravery, clutching a double-edged coronation sword in his paw. On the left shoulder, the unicorn is a symbol of caution, prudence, purity and rigor. In heraldic books and coats of arms of successful companies and workshops, the unicorn is a symbol of decency and the highest quality. On the sides of the chest are depicted opposing armies of knights rushing into battle, and in the center is a majestic architectural portal of a medieval cathedral with a variety of ornamental compositions.
The head of the King is crowned with a symbol of power and greatness - a beautiful winged crown decorated with amethysts and mascarons, on which sits a crowned lion holding a scepter and a battle shield in its paws.the author conceived his work as a masterpiece and a triumph of craftsmanship, which would embody a whole symphony of various shapes, textures, angles, volumes, secret messages, architectural elements and bizarre chimeras inhabiting a complex image.
At the international exhibition Jeweler Expo Ukraine, this work won the prestigious prize "Gold of the Year" in the nomination "Best Interior Decoration of 2016"
