The sculptural image was included in the exclusive series "Marshals of Victory", created for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The porcelain work is a sculptural portrait of Marshal Leonid Alexandrovich Govorov. In order to achieve maximum authenticity, authenticity and take into account the smallest details, the sculptor Alexey Nicheporchuk, specializing in recreating images of outstanding historical figures, as well as leading experts in uniformology, were involved in the work.
The sculpture recreates a historical moment – the appearance of the marshal on the significant day of the Victory Day Parade, June 24, 1945. Leonid Govorov, who led the column of the consolidated regiment of the Leningrad Front, appears before us in all his majestic severity. The sculptor masterfully conveyed not only the individual features and his posture, but also carefully worked out every detail of the Marshal of the Soviet Union's ceremonial costume: an elegant uniform with characteristic breeches, a cap, high boots, orders and medals, a saber at the hip.
The sculpture is made of sponge porcelain and is cast exclusively by hand.
