The product is made in the tradition of Cantonese carving and includes 58 nested movable layers cut from a single piece of material. Each layer is separated manually without destroying the overall structure, which requires exceptional precision and many years of master experience. The surface of the ball is saturated with the finest details: the writhing bodies of dragons, cloud motifs and decorative curls form a complex relief, playing with light and shadow.
