The sculpture is part of a series depicting riding breeds of horses - Arabian, Anglo-Arabian, Frisian, Lipizzian, Akhal-Teke and Hanoverian. The series is made in continuation of the tradition of performing highly artistic animalistic and genre sculptures in porcelain. The author of the work, the artist Anatoly Danilov, depicted an elegant horse in porcelain with extraordinary precision and skill. The snow-white sculpture is distinguished by the subtle rendering of details: every fold on the horse's skin, a vein swollen in movement, and a tense muscle are visible as if the animal is about to step out and leave its elegant pedestal. Thanks to sophisticated technologies of manual pouring and computer modeling, it became possible to place the sculpture on two hooves, without additional support points.
