"Yemelyanov" manufactory is a Russian family—owned company that creates collectible furniture, interior items and art works from precious woods and natural Baltic amber. The brand's history began in 1992 in the Kaliningrad region, when founder Alexander Yemelyanov combined the noble texture of wood and the natural radiance of amber in one product.
Long-term research allowed the craftsmen to develop their own technologies for working with these materials, including the author's "Carpet Mosaic" technique. Amber fragments, differing in hue, transparency and internal pattern, are manually folded into complex compositions. Due to the natural uniqueness of the stone, each piece acquires an individual character.
Today, "Yemelyanov" is a modern full—cycle production facility with an area of about 8000 square meters. The manufactory has woodworking and amber workshops, a design department and its own design studio. Modern equipment and computer modeling are combined here with hand carvings, intarsia, stained glass windows and traditional mosaic art. Designers, artists, designers, technologists, cabinetmakers and mosaic artists work on the works. The manufactory creates furniture, interior panels, chess, backgammon, clocks, jewelry boxes, writing materials, decorative items, kiosks and table icons. A significant part of the products is made according to individual sketches and sizes.
The works of the manufactory are represented in private collections and museum exhibitions, and have also been shown at prestigious exhibitions in Milan, Paris, Moscow, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. One of the landmark works was the "Louvre" chess set, the creators of which were awarded the prize of the Russian Federation in the field of culture.
Ilya Yemelyanov continues the family business today. While maintaining continuity and respect for traditional craft, the manufactory is developing as a modern art center capable of implementing projects of exceptional complexity. "Yemelyanov" products are located on the border of collectible design, furniture art and artistic craft, becoming an expressive part of the interior, a status gift and a valuable family legacy.
