Wenge and hornbeam chess "Standard"

This is a wonderful set. The figures in this set are really "black" and really "white". The black ones are made of an array of precious ebony - wenge; the white ones are made of an array of rock hornbeam. The board in this set matches the figures, it is made of wenge. At the same time, this chess is very convenient to play. The characteristics of this set fully meet the needs of fans of this ancient game:

- The figures are hand-carved: the light ones are made of hornbeam, and the dark ones are made of wenge. A weighting device is installed at the base of each figure, so that the figure is weighty and lies pleasantly in the player's hand. The bases of the figures are glued with genuine leather to minimize damage to the playing field during movement.
- The board is made of solid wenge.
- The field is made up of alternately arranged squares of American maple veneer (white cells) and wenge (dark cells). Each field is set manually.
- Alphabetic and numeric indexing of cells is applied along the edge of the field.
