About this product
Art. : 180-529

The Koran decorated with the "Way of the Prophet" is not just a book, but a reliquary of the spiritual tradition, embodied in the material with exceptional reverence. The sacred text in Arabic is enclosed in a luxurious cover, handmade according to the traditions of Zlatoust metal decoration. The central element of the composition is a round medallion with a calligraphic inscription, framed by ornaments of oriental geometry. Octagonal malachite and enamel inserts in rich colors are not only decorative elements, but also symbols of earth, heaven and eternity embedded in the sacred structure of the artifact.

The masters of Chrysostom put the whole arsenal of their art into the design of the book. The Zlatoust technique, which developed at the turn of the XVIII–XIX centuries, includes hand engraving on metal, blackening, gilding, inlay and enamel inserts. Each element on the binding goes a long way: from a sketch to an ornament, from etching to polishing. Gilded surfaces with floral and geometric decorations shine with a special light — soft, warm, like a ray of the setting sun in the desert. There is not a single factory feature here — just a lively, inspired hand of the master and respect for the great text.

Such a Qur'an is not an object, but a testimony. It is given in exceptional cases — as a sign of respect, recognition, and spiritual kinship. It is appropriate in a home where traditions are respected, where the sacred is understood as part of everyday life, and luxury as a form of gratitude. It's not just a book—it's a living connection to Scripture, fixed in gold, stone, and pattern.

Altmaster The Qur'an "Splendor" in Arabic The Qur'an "Splendor" in Arabic The original Arabic edition of the Holy Quran is made in a silver bullion frame. The binding is made of fine calfskin of deep green color, hand-inlaid with voluminous silver inserts and painted in the technique of hot enamel. The skin color was not chosen by chance, it acts as a symbol of paradisiacal gardens, youth and abundance. The front side of the salary is decorated with the inscription "Holy Quran", which is made in Arabic script and placed in a sky-blue rosette. All the elements of the inlay are richly decorated with floral ornaments — islimi. The choice of such a design is dictated by the Islamic tradition – to convey the beauty of forms through the calligraphy of the printed word and the use of floral ornaments in the decor, without depicting animate objects. The meaning of using infinitely intertwining patterns lies in the abstract vision of phenomena in Islam, and is intended to guide a person towards understanding the infinite in finite forms. The frame is complemented with silver corners and a curly clasp decorated with a stone. The full text of the Holy Quran, consisting of 114 chapters, was printed in Turkey on special paper "like papyrus" and made in the naskh calligraphic font, common during the reign of Caliph Uthman. The names of Allah, key phrases and places of prolonged reading are highlighted in red.
