The Bible in Russian in the classical Synodal translation. It is published in an optimal format for use, printed on high-quality white paper, equipped with indexes of Old Testament, evangelical and apostolic readings in accordance with the church calendar. Parallel passages are given to all texts in the Bible – these are themes and sayings that literally coincide or echo with other places of Holy Scripture. All books of the New Testament, except the Apocalypse, have church initials in the margins, that is, passages read during church services throughout the year.

To illustrate some places from the sacred history, the publication is provided with engravings by G. Dore and Yu. Carolsfeld.

The publication includes non-canonical books of the Old Testament. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. (IS R21-038-3429)
