The Bible "Three Saints"

In the center of the silver salary of the Bible is the plot of the "Conversation of the Three Saints" — Gregory the Theologian, Basil the Great and John Chrysostom. Above, He was saved by a Miracle.

Gregory the Theologian is a close friend and associate of Basil the Great. He had a great influence on the formation of the dogma, organization, and worship of the Church. He identified the concepts of "hypostasis" and "face". The consequence of this identification was the emergence of the concept of "personality", previously unknown in the ancient world.

Basil the Great is the Archbishop of Caesarea of Cappadocia, a church writer and theologian. He distinguished the concepts of "essence" and "hypostasis" of God, defining their difference as between the general and the particular. Basil the Great is credited with inventing the iconostasis and composing the liturgy of Basil the Great.

John Chrysostom is the Archbishop of Constantinople, a brilliant preacher, who received the name "Chrysostom" from his flock for his rare gift. In his conversations, John Chrysostom left interpretations on many books of Holy Scripture and is revered by the Church as a very authoritative interpreter of the Bible. He composed a sequence of the Liturgy bearing his name, introduced religious processions and other customs into church use. He is known for his concern for the spread of the Christian faith in Russia.
