For over a hundred years, the Little Women trilogy, one of the most famous works of American classical literature for young people, has been a huge success among young readers around the world; plays, opera, TV series and feature films have been created based on it, the last of which was released in 2019. Drawings by American artists Reginald Bathurst Birch, Edmund Henry Garrett, Louis Jambor and Frank Thayer Merrill were used in the design of this edition of the trilogy. The collection includes four of the most famous novels by the American writer Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888), telling about the life of several generations of the March family, their relatives and pupils. The books are based on the author's memories of her childhood and the school created by her own father.
